Modify–Mash–Rip explores the limits of emerging conventions in contemporary design practice. The inevitable influence of technology has become a decisive factor, broadening the field of action and the ease of creation, but has also led to the standardization of practices and homogeneity of results. The forms of production now depend on computational thinking based on parametric methods, shaped by the political or cultural conditions of its infrastructures. From an analogy to the "rock-paper-scissors" game, which establishes a conditional logic through a limited set of gestures/tools, the possibilities of subversion of some standardized principles or patterns will be questioned. Thus, it invites the user to observe and rethink the values exposed, within the configured conditions and the available tools, motivating a systematic exploratory practice in the dia-logue between technology and human input.
